Distracted driver causes road closure
By JOURNAL STAFF MARQUETTE — A one-vehicle crash caused a temporary closure of Wright Street near Commerce Drive on Saturday, reported the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office. Around 2 p.m., dispatch received a call that a 2017 Chrysler van heading south on Wright Street had gone off the road and into the treeline. The driver was an 82-year-old man from Jenison with three passengers.
