Marquette County U.S. Bowling Congress Association tournament bowling to be held over next 2 weekends

ISHPEMING -- The Marquette County U.S. Bowling Congress Association will hold its 13th annual tournament this weekend and the following weekend at River Rock Lanes in Ishpeming.
All bowling is based on 90 percent handicap from an average of 230 based on 2016-17 season averages or if there is none from then, the highest average from this season.
Divisions are three-person team, doubles and singles, along with all events availability. All events must be entered before any bowling takes place.
Cost is $20 per person per event, except all events which is $5.
Half the fees collected in the $20 events are put back into the prize fund.
Bowling times are at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday and also on Saturday and Sunday, March 17-18.
Prospective bowlers are urged to reserve their spot as walk-ins are allowed but only if there is enough room during a particular shift.
All-events bowlers will be entered in a drawing to win several prizes, which include a new bowling ball or double roller bowling bag.
