Juveniles apprehended in Ishpeming

ISHPEMING -- Three juveniles between the ages of 10 and 11 were apprehended on Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m. by Bell Forest Products employees after three previous break-ins the past week. The juveniles were turned over to the custody of their parents.

According to a police press release, the Ishpeming Police Department have been investigating the break-ins, vandalism and damage to the property on the corner of Seventh Street and Division Street.

The damage consists of spray painting, broken windows and damage to a snowmobile and forklift. The estimated damage could exceed $20,000 in repairs.

The investigation is ongoing as a report on the breaking and entering case will be reviewed by the Marquette County Prosecutor's Office.
