MARQUETTE -- The Veridea Group has announced an addition to its management team. Josh Paquette joins the real estate development and hospitality management company as the purchasing and procurement manager.
A Marquette native, Paquette holds a degree business administration from Finlandia University and a master of business administration from Central Michigan University.
In his new role, Paquette is responsible for all aspects of purchasing and contract procurement to ensure that Veridea's hotels and other commercial properties operate within budget with respect to supplies, furniture, fixtures, equipment and vendor contracts.
Veridea's executive management team said Paquette's past work experience in leading and developing new career education campuses made him an excellent fit for the procurement manager position.
"Josh has been a great addition to the Veridea team and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on the company's future," said Veridea Vice President of Hospitality Charles Holsworth.
Paquette was a member of Marquette Junior Hockey before playing in college at Finlandia University and, finally, playing at the minor professional level. For the past eight years, he has lived in lower Michigan with his wife and son.
