NEGAUNEE — Emergency personnel reported to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 41 in Negaunee Township around 2:30 p.m. today.

The car and pickup truck involved in the crash both appeared to have sustained major damage. It is unclear whether anyone was injured. Westbound lanes on the highway near Tractor Supply Co. have been reduced to one.

The Michigan State Police, UP Health System Emergency Medical Services, Negaunee Township Fire Department and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene of the accident.
