MARQUETTE — Lauren Wilkinson helped celebrate for herself and fellow 12th-graders on Senior Night Thursday as the Marquette volleyball team swept Menominee 25-14, 25-21, 25-17.

“It was an emotional night for the team, especially seniors Lauren Wilkinson, Chloe Hale, Ellie Hicks, Peyton Sides, Olivia Arntsen and Faith Turausky,” MSHS coach Mike Morgan said. “We made some changes in our rotations that really paid off. We got better defense and more offense, which is a great combination.

“I am very proud to see these girls have such a great night.”

Wilkinson led the Redettes’ offense with 14 kills, while Hale had 27 assists and five service aces, Hicks three blocks and Mikaila Graham 10 digs.
