GWINN — Gwinn High School will host its seasonal Meet the Modeltowners event at the school on Friday, Aug. 25, preceding Gwinn’s opening varsity football game of the season.

The event starts at 5 p.m. with introduction of athletes to take place at halfitme of the football game, which starts at 7 p.m.

Gwinn Area Community Schools students in all grades will be admitted free to the football game, as will those who contribute school supplies for the Stuff the Bus program.

At the pregame event, there will be music, youth games, tailgating, a bounce house and free hot dogs while supplies last. Other concessions will also be available for purchase, as well as new Modeltowner merchandise.
