MARQUETTE – The Northern Michigan University men’s basketball team has signed another player, head coach Bill Sall announced Thursday.

Sam Taylor, a 5-foot-10 guard from Chicago, will join the Wildcats this fall. During his senior year at Thornton High School, he averaged 19.8 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game. Taylor was named to the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune’s all-area first teams. NMU has now inked six players for the upcoming season.
