MARQUETTE – Adam Martin and Felicia Gesior of Northern Michigan University have been named Skiers of the Week by the Central Collegiate Ski Association based on their performance at the Telemark Chase last weekend.

Martin scored his first two victories of the season at the Telemark, winning the 10-kilometer classic in 26:14.6 and 15K freestyle in 35:51.2 to help the Wildcat men sweep both podiums.

Gesior captured the 5K classic title, clocking in at 16:05.0, two seconds faster than the second-place finisher. She finished fourth – and third among CCSA-affiliated skiers – in the 10K freestyle in 16:05.0.

Martin, Gesior and the Wildcats return to the course this weekend when they compete at the CCSA Invitational hosted by Michigan Tech University Saturday and Sunday.
