NMU to offers 2016 sports camps

MARQUETTE – The Northern Michigan Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Sports Department has announced its 2016 summer camp schedule.

Fourteen camps in seven sports start in April. The full schedule, including links to registration pages, is online at www.nmuwildcats.com/information/SportCamps.

April includes the hockey team’s 3-on-3 development camp and women’s basketball Little Dribblers program.

June is the busiest month and include the main camps in football, volleyball, women’s basketball and men’s basketball.

Volleyball in June includes a positional training camp, elite-advanced all skills camp and team camp. Women’s basketball has its day camp and youth residential-commuter camp.

The football team holds its Big Man program and its skills camp, while men’s basketball includes its high school team camp and individual skills camp.

In July, the hockey team holds its annual hockey camp, while the swimming & diving teams hosts its aquatic youth camp. The soccer day camp will be in August.
