MARQUETTE – Eight Northern Michigan University Olympic Training Site athletes are scheduled to compete in the Austrian Junior Greco-Roman Open next month in Gotzis, Austria.

Other countries set to participate include the host country, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Switzerland.

The tournament takes place Feb. 27-28, followed by an international training camp from March 1-7. Coach Rob Hermann will lead the NMU OTS group.

“This tour is to help our junior wrestlers get the training and competition that they need to compete at the FILA Cadet/Junior world championships,” Hermann said.
