MARQUETTE — A two-month-long pickleball program will be held on Mondays throughout June and July at the Sands Township Recreational Facility.

Sessions last from 6 to 8 p.m. from June 6 to July 25, with the first two sessions focusing on learning how to play, rules and court etiquette.

The final five sessions — with the group taking July 4 off — are scheduled to involve playing in a “quasi-ladder” league.

Additional instructional opportunities will also be available to participants.

Cost for the program is $50 and registration is limited to the program’s capacity.
