MARQUETTE — Beginning pickleball clinics will be held in two Marquette County locations in the next week.

Clinics will be conducted by Josh Kitto, an area tennis and pickleball professional. The sessions will cover fundamentals, scoring and rules for those just taking it up.

On Saturday, the Al Quaal tennis courts in Ishpeming will host a clinic from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Then on Tuesday, the Sands Township Recreation Facility will host a clinic from 6:15 to 8 p.m.

Cost is $25 per person and equipment is provided. Prospective participants are urged to register at least several days in advance of a clinic.
