MARQUETTE — The Marquette Reds Junior Legion baseball team celebrated its Independence Day in a big way as it earned a 19-4 win over the Marquette Little League All-Stars Thursday.

Skylar Robertson was the Reds’ star at the plate as he went 3 for 4 with six RBI. The All-Stars scored four runs in the first inning, but it was all Reds from there.

Isaac Sarles got the win on the mound for the Reds as he gave up zero runs on one hit with one walk and two strikeouts in two and two-thirds innings.

Sam O’Neal, Paavo Mannisto and Brody Caster all had multiple hits for the Reds.
