MARQUETTE — Cal’s/Marquette Fence picked up a pair of wins in the Marquette Men’s Fastpitch Softball League for the week ending June 7.

Ryan Schmeltzer homered in C/MF’s 10-8 win over Champion Glass as the team also defeated McCabe’s 13-5.

In other games, Austin Laitinen picked up the pitching win as teammate Josh Warner homered in an 11-7 win posted by 906 Bar & Grill/Anytime Fitness over Fox Marquette.

Champion Glass outscored 906/Anytime 12-11 with a walkoff hit by Darryl Hamari.

Fox Marquette dropped Northern Michigan University 12-1 as Dylan Peterson got the pitching win and Jordan Truxton and James Sandstrom each homered.

And Stonehouse downed McCabe’s 14-4 as Bryan Harris pitched the victory and Gary Karp picked up five RBIs.
