Munising’s Kaila Cotey and Taylor Downs compete for a Rapid River dig in the third set of the District Championship Game Saturday. District champ Munising plays tonight in the MHSAA Division 4 regional tournament at Westwood. In the first semifinal, Carney-Nadeau takes on Wakefield-Marenisco at 6 p.m. then the other contest pits Lake Linden-Hubbell vs. Munising at 7:30 p.m. Meanwhile in the MHSAA Division 3 regional tournament, hosted by Manistique (nontraditional) at Marquette it will be Calumet vs. Manistique at 6:30 p.m. today.
