MARQUETTE – The Northern Michigan University hockey team will celebrate 40 years of the program along with the 25th anniversary of its NCAA national championship at a fund-raising golf outing and reunion on Saturday, July 30.

Participants receive receive 18 holes of golf, two carts per team, lunch and complimentary refreshments on the course for $100. Prizes such as the longest drive will also be awarded.

This four-person scramble will be held on the Heritage course at the Marquette Golf Club with registration for an hour before a noon shotgun start.

Non-golfing alumni can attend a post-outing reception at a location to be determined for $50.

The night before the outing, there will be an open-house reception at Hudson’s Bar and Grill in Marquette.
