Wrong game listed in photo
MARQUETTE – In Monday’s Mining Journal on page 1B, the Northern Michigan University football action photo from the 1975 championship year identified it as the wrong game.
The contest pictured with quarterback Steve Mariucci dropping back to pass was the NCAA Division II quarterfinal game against Boise State in Boise, Idaho.
