MARQUETTE – Organizers announced Wednesday that they have canceled the Warriors Fight Night that was scheduled for Saturday evening at Marquette Senior High School.

Marquette Area Public Schools backed out of hosting the event as there were concerns from the school district about several issues, including liability concerns, according to a Facebook online listing at the Warriors Muay Thai gym of Marquette website and through a phone call. Event organizers said they wouldn’t be able to reschedule on such short notice.

The group also said it would look for a future date and venue for a similar event.
