COOKS – Superior Central broke open a close match in the third set and coasted to a 3-1 high school volleyball victory at Big Bay de Noc on Friday, 25-23, 22-25, 25-14, 25-21.

SC trailed 13-3 in the opening set before tying it 17-17 on eight straight service points by Caitlin Fisk and winning it on four consecutive service points by Osana Fink. Ally Bray and Kirsten Ryon were credited with strong serving in the fourth and final set.

Bray led the Cougars with 10 aces, three kills, 15 assists and nine digs, while Fisk had six aces, six kills and five digs and Emma Rondeau six aces, four kills and four digs.
