Sharkey posts ace
MARQUETTE – After some 30 years of golfing, Ray Sharkey of Marquette Thursday recorded his first-ever hole-in-one.
He aced the Marquette Golf Club’s sixth hole on the Greywalls course. Sharkey used a 7-iron on the par-3, 151-yard layout.
Witnessing the feat were his golfing partners Ron Maki, Henry Powers and Rick Heikkila.
Sharkey finished with a 78 (38-40) for the round.
