Robie sinks another ace
GWINN – Ken Robie of Gwinn is getting into a habit of recording a golf hole-in-one.
On Tuesday, he posted his second career ace – both coming this season – at the Red Fox Run Golf Club in Gwinn.
Whereas the first ace came on the course’s big cups, this time Robie recorded a hole-in-one while using regulation cups.
He aced the par-3, 195-yard 12th hole with a 6-hybrid.
“It’s the same club he used on his earlier ace,” Red Fox Run pro Dennis Kargela said.
Witnessing the feat were Robie’s wife Sally and pro shop attendant Katie Aho.
