Jurmu to golf in Florida
MARQUETTE – For the second straight year, Jordan Jurmu of Marquette will be taking part in the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships.
Jurmu will be competing in the boys’ 12-13 age group Thursday through next Tuesday at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
More than 650 junior golfers from around the world will be taking part in three sessions for both boys and girls through July 31.
Last year, Jurmu placed 49th with a score of 257 on rounds of 82, 90 and 85.
