NEGAUNEE — Negaunee High School’s varsity football game at Gladstone which has been scheduled for Friday night has been canceled.

“Our priority is our student athletes and their families health and welfare,” Negaunee varsity football coach Paul Jacobson said Tuesday morning. “Based on a health department recommendation, we decided our best option was to cancel.”

Jacobson said the Negaunee staff its looking for another opponent for this weekend.
