Northern Michigan University women’s lacrosse team suffers pair of losses in Colorado

MARQUETTE — Sophomore Jessica Daniels scored five goals over two games but it wasn’t enough to avert a pair of losses as the Northern Michigan University lacrosse team traveled to Colorado last week.

The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs posted a 9-8 double-overtime victory over the Wildcats before Colorado Mesa scored an 18-7 triumph.

NMU (2-3) hits the road again this weekend.

The Wildcats play a game at Upper Iowa on Friday and at Concordia-St. Paul (Minnesota) on Sunday.
