Marquette boys power past Menominee on the road

MENOMINEE — The Marquette boys basketball team definitely took care of business Friday night as the Redmen dominated Menominee 64-29.

Ty Lotterman led Marquette with 22 points, while Kameron Karp had 12. Keagan Monroe was the Maroons’ offensive leader as he finished with 11.

Marquette took control early, taking a 13-5 advantage into the second quarter and led 32-14 at the half. The Redmen then busted the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Menominee 25-2, and they cruised the rest of the way.

The Maroons head to Stephenson Monday, while Marquette hosts Ishpeming Tuesday.
