Caro Els

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Northern Michigan University junior Caro Els was named to the all-tournament team at the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational last weekend that was held in Kentucky.

Her Wildcats’ team finished sixth of 23 teams, including third among nine GLIAC schools.

Els tied for second with rounds of 72 and 77 for 149.

Senior teammates Karissa Guthrie and Haley Hewer tied for 35th, each shooting identical rounds of 80-82–162, while another NMU senior, Baylee Dunmire, tied for 84th wiht 88-85–173. In addition, Northern freshman Abbie Boozer shot 83 the first day in her only competitive round.

NMU returns to action on April 1-2 at the NC4K Classic at the Jefferson Golf Course in Blacklick, Ohio.
