MARQUETTE — On Thursday, the Marquette Senior High School decided to add a little flash to their logos.

The Redmen now have an updated main logo as well as new sports-specific secondary logos and tertiary marks. They even added a new font style for the logos that adds a sharper quality to the words.

In a press release, Marquette athletic director Alex Tiseo talked about what the new logos mean to the school.

“We’re very excited about our updated visual identity,” he said. “This is something that is important to establish for the future of this department. The new set of logos will represent who we are from an athletics standpoint. When our students and fans walk down the street with these logos on their shirt, they can do so proudly.”

Earlier this year, the Redmen landed an agreement with Nike and BSN Sports for them to be the official apparel and equipment provider for the school.

Apparel with the new logos are available through a flash store at www.bsnteamsports.com (access code MQTATH17) and orders will be accepted until Aug. 28. Flash stores for specific sports will be available throughout this academic year.
