MARQUETTE — The Marquette Senior High School athletic department has signed a five-year agreement with BSN Sports and Nike as the apparel and equipment provider of Redmen and Redette athletics beginning this fall.

The schoolwide agreement is touted as the first of its kind for an Upper Peninsula high school and features equipment, custom uniforms, practice gear and team apparel for the school’s 27 sports teams.

In addition to financial benefits for the school, MSHS also gains access to incentives designed to enhance team and school club fund-raising.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with BSN Sports and Nike,” said Alex Tiseo, Marquette Area Public Schools athletic director, in a news release. “This agreement with Nike allows us to develop our brand by clarifying and unifying our look, as well as our standard of apparel. We look forward to using this partnership to enhance our athletics experience while further promoting school pride among all students.”

BSN Sports offers uniform and apparel embellishments, screen printing, embroidery and digital printing capabilities. Nike is an international powerhouse in the sports apparel world.
