Legislation has been introduced in Lansing to require license plates on both the front and back of vehicles in Michigan. How do you feel about this legislation?

  1. a. I think it's a good idea.
  2. b. I think it's a bad idea.
  3. c. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other.

just another way to make money, they will not give this second plate away and it is also a way to scan vehicles both forward and backwards with the new license plate scanners they are installing in all police cars. they won't tell you about these two reasons when they enact it into law, they will do it in secret like everything else they do. vote republican...........yea

I Think this is reinventing the wheel all over again. We had two before...Sure are more problems to solve by the Legislation than this. Seem petty. Do some real work and get the State Working on all Cylinders...

It would help police speed the process of finding and identifying stolen and wanted vehicles.

As I recall, we had to have license plates, back and front, up until the time of Governor Engler. I don't think the front plate is necessary.

If that happens then who is going to pay to put holders or holes on all the front of the cars that do not have a place for a license plate?
