DETROIT (AP) - Detroit police say they're seeking leads in the fatal shooting of two men who were sitting in a car on the city's near east side.
Police said Monday that men ages 50 and 29 were in a blue Chevrolet Malibu when a man opened fire on them. The slayings happened Friday about 10:15 a.m. on Seneca Street, near Gratiot Avenue and just south of Interstate 94.
Police didn't release the victim's names, but The Detroit News identifies the 29-year-old as Lawrence Sanders.
Police say the suspect is black male in his 20s, about 5-foot-10, with a medium complexion, braids and goatee. They say he was wearing a black leather coat and blue jeans.
