MUNISING, MI. - John Clifford McNally, age 63, of 518 Lynn Street, died peacefully at his home in the arms of his mother on Sunday evening, September 1, 2013 following a three-month illness.

He was born in Munising on April 28, 1950. He is survived by his mother - Dawn Morrison of Marquette; sisters Cheryl (Paul) Heyrman and April (Larry) Heyrman of Munising; brother David (Terry) McNally of Indiana; many special friends; and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John was a well decorated U.S. Army veteran who served his country in Vietnam with a lot of pride. He was most happy when he was out at someone's camp with all of his friends and also at his second home the casino. John walked many miles throughout the town every day. He always enjoyed a good conversation and a good cup of coffee.
