MARQUETTE - The Marquette County Board is seeking candidates for two vacancies on the Pathways Board.
The two open positions are for 3-year terms ending March 31, 2016. The deadline for filing an application is Monday.
The county board plans to make appointments to the panel at its meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The Pathways (Community Mental Health) Board governs the operations of the Mental Health Program in Alger, Delta, Luce and Marquette counties. A public official is defined as someone who works 20 hours or more per week for federal, state or local government. The two vacancies are for members of the public with family members or primary Pathways recipients preferred.
Six of the board's appointments are made by the Marquette County Board, four are made by the Delta County Board and one each by the Alger and Luce county boards.
