MARQUETTE - The Upper Peninsula Children's Museum and the Marquette Food Co-op are teaming up to offer a special cooking class at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the museum. This hands-on, parent-child cooking class allows participants to learn to make a variety of healthy, tasty snacks. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Enrollment in the class includes admission to the Children's Museum. Other family members are welcome to use the museum for the usual admission fee, or with membership.

Cost of the class is $12 for an adult and child, $15 for two children. Marquette Food Co-op members can take $2 off the total price. Tickets are available at the co-op and at the museum. For more information, call 225-0671, ext. 23.
