Electricians beat Belle Tire again

MARQUETTE - The Marquette Electricians ran their winning streak against the Belle Tire Selects to four games with a 6-2 victory at Lakeview Arena on Saturday morning.

The Electricians, 5-2-1 since an 0-22-6 start, are 4-1 this season against the Detroit-area team.

Marquette led 1-0 after one period and the game was tied 2-2 entering the third period, when the Electricians scored four unanswered goals. Twice Marquette scored on power plays.

Torrin Grange and Jacob Peterson each scored twice for the Electricians. Single goals came off the sticks of Matthew Stewart and Andrew Plomer. Nicholas Franze had a three-assist playmaker and Nicholas Cammarata had two assists.

Bryce Leaf made 22 saves in the Marquette net as his teammates peppered Belle Tire with 29 shots.
