MARQUETTE, MI. - Robert G. "Bob" Fletcher, age 91, of 215 Mesnard Street, Marquette, entered eternal life Saturday evening, January 5, 2013, at home, in the loving, comforting care of his family and the caregivers of Lake Superior Hospice.

Bob was born June 30, 1921 in Marquette, a son of the late Clyde and Elizabeth (Miller) Fletcher and was a lifelong Marquette resident. He was a 1939 graduate of the Graveraet High School. Bob then began his employment with Fletcher's Meat Market in South Marquette as a butcher-meat cutter, working until that store ceased operations in 1983. Bob was an avid sportsman, playing softball (pitcher), hockey, and golf. He also enjoyed a good game of cribbage. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Marquette Golf Club.

A loving husband, father, grandparent, and brother, he is survived by his wife, Anna M.
