MARQUETTE - Johanna Novak, a shareholder in the Marquette office of Foster Swift Collins & Smith PC, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors for the Medical Care Access Coalition.
The MCAC is a Marquette County based nonprofit that coordinates volunteered and donated medical care to the low income, uninsured in the County.
It is a volunteer non-profit organization and is comprised of civic leaders and representatives from medical, public health, mental health/substance abuse, and consumer groups of Marquette County.
Novak is a member of the firm's Health Care Practice Group and primarily practices in health law, health insurance and employee benefits. She received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and completed her juris doctorate degree at the University of Wisconsin Law School.
