ST. CHARLES, Mich. - Baudoux, Suzanne J., St. Charles, MI formerly of Grand Marais, MI. Went home to the Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Cartwright Care Center at the age of 81 years.

Sue was born September 24, 1931, in Saginaw to the late Julius and Mabel (Eddy) Schmidt. She married Leo Baudoux on August 6, 1955, and he predeceased her July 25, 2009. She was a former member of Second Presbyterian, Grand Marais United Methodist Church, and a member of St. Lukes Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother, cooking, quilting, sewing, and her Shelties.

She is survived by her children, Laura (Ken) Piwowarski, Jean (Dr. Justin) Dey, Mary (Steven Proctor) Yoos, Bill (Lois) Baudoux, and Ed (Tammy) Baudoux; 13 grandchildren; her sisters, Beverly Bledsoe and Rachel (Zan) Hilton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends in Grand Marais. She was predeceased by a baby brother and a brother-in-law, Murray Bledsoe.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2012, at St. Lukes Ev. Lutheran Church, 5501 Gratiot. Rev. Mark Lindloff will officiate with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes, Grand Marais United Methodist Church, or to Second Presbyterian.
