To the Journal editor:

Here we come to another new year, 2022. Let’s hope to make it better by trying to help each other.

Little things like opening a door for someone, or how about a smile and say God bless, or as the new saying is, have a good one. Or more or less a good and healthy day and not have to rush around but enjoy the beauty of our Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

You have to slow down and see it and lets pray. And my idea is to remember God’s love for all of us.

This is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it, and give thanks for many blessings that come our way.

If we would take time in meditation and have quiet time in the world that is moving faster all the time. Also, so far we have had a nice winter — not much snow or really cold temperatures.

So in closing, I hope the COVID will soon go away, and how about some good news from the national news.

And thanks to The Mining Journal editorial staff for getting my letters in the paper. When I write, I try to tell the truth and hopefully continue to give us the best news that God loves us and gave His son Jesus to show us the way to real life, which is to love one another and follow the spiritual path to a way of peace and joy in all circumstances.
