To the Journal editor:

Mr. Bergman, you and senatorial candidate John James came to Marquette for an outdoor campaign event with attendees crammed together with most not wearing masks, including you! You touted that you are for “law and order.” However, you violated our governor’s order for outdoor gatherings, and at a time when the rates are spiking in the Upper Peninsula! We do not want to shut down again because of such reckless and careless behavior!

We do not want to stress our medical community more than what they are already stressed. We do not want more people suffering with this illness and families losing their income, housing and experiencing food insecurity. Have your actions match your words!
