NMU Wildcats improved on ice

To the Journal editor:

Come on back!

For the first time in several years, you can now go to a Northern Michigan University hockey game and watch an example of discipline, sportsmanship and quality hockey. You can even bring your young children (without covering their eyes).

Grant Potulny is a refreshing head coach change from the previous chaotic regime we hockey fans suffered through for the past several years.

Just as the past teams reflected the ineptness of their head coach, this team reflects the quality of a hockey coach that requires the best from all those who coach and play for him.

Join me and the growing number of hockey fans who are returning to the rink, not only to show support for this much improved program, but also to cheer and enjoy the return of a fast, fun and high quality hockey game.

Can’t wait for the next one!
