To the Journal editor:

Negaunee has been in a constant chaotic change in 2017. It now appears a new city manager may be in the wings and the new council is now seated.

I want to thank all the city workers for their steadfast dedication and their ability to continually roll with chaotic change as it is never easy. Thank You Jay Frusti for your steadfast dedication to the community not only as the police chief but as the interim manager. You are a true leader. Thank you to the Negaunee Police Department for stepping up to the plate and taking on more responsibility in a time of transition.

The community is truly blessed to have such a dedicated department. Thank you Ann Yoho for your constant ability to keep the internal parts of the city going. You are truly an amazing individual. The community is very fortunate to have someone who cares as much as you do.

Let’s hope that 2018 provides for calmer seas.
