Letters to the Editor: Bergman thanked for Soo Locks measure
To the Journal editor:
I’m writing today to thank U.S. Rep. Jack Bergman, R-Watersmeet, for introducing the Soo Locks Modernization Act.
No significant improvements have been made to this system in 50 years, and I am glad to see Rep. Bergman agrees that this is unacceptable.
Rep. Bergman worked across the aisle to introduce this legislation. I hope that others in Congress will follow his lead and vote for badly needed infrastructure improvements both in Michigan and around the country.
Rep. Bergman, thank you for your service to our country and for your work on behalf of Michigan’s 1st Congressional District.
