The Ishpeming Lions Club and Tri Township Lions Club held their 12th Annual Holiday Breakfast Buffet in early December.

t was our best year ever, serving over 260 attendees. We would like to thank our major sponsors: Eagle Mine, Cliffs Natural Resources, Jubilee Foods, CR Meyer, Globe Printing, Spiessels Fruit Market, Super One FoodsNegaunee, Huron Mountain Bakery, Seelen’s Home Improvement and John Jilbert.

Many thanks also to all of the businesses and individuals that purchased place mat ads. We are very grateful to Father Larry VanDamme and the people of St. John’s Parish for the use of K/D Hall.

A big thanks to Steve Asplund of TV 6, Lisa Bowers of The Mining Journal and Walt and Mike at Sunny 102 for all of the great coverage and to the Ishpeming School and Westwood High School students who helped the day of the breakfast.

We thank all who purchased tickets for the event and lastly all the members of both Lions Clubs.

The efforts of the Clubs and the outstanding community support will enable us to continue our Lions International Mission – “WE SERVE.”

Many in need within our community will benefit from the resources raised.
