To the Journal editor:

The Ishpeming Area Historical Sociegty wishes to thank the many local volunteers as well as Paul and Sandra Arsenault of the old Gossard building; Tom West of the U.S. National Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum; Negaunee Historical Society; Sarah Kiszka and Marcus Robyns of the Northern Michigan University Archives for their part in making the spring meeting of the Northland Historical Society a huge success.

Last Saturday, 29 historical society and museum participants from Florence (Wisconsin) and Iron and Menominee counties came together to share and learn, which happens twice a year.

We encourage everyone to take the time to visit the museums throughout the Upper Peninsula and northeast Wisconsin this summer.
