Lakestate thankful

To the Journal editor:

Lakestate Industries Marquette would like to thank everyone and every business that has donated either services or items that are used here in our production shop at Lakestate Industries.

We have been here for just over one year and the community has stepped up in so many ways to help. I would like to recognize all that have made generous contributions to our organization.

At Lakestate Industries our vision is that, “Every person has the opportunity to be employed and to work to their fullest potential.” Thank you to the following from the bottom of our hearts. All are not in the order in which the gifts were given as there has been so many community partners who have helped Lakestate Industires Marquette when asked for support.

Lakenenland (Tom), Jack’s Foods, Matthew’s Floor Fashion’s (Joe Burdick), MarqTran, the Michigan XDepartment of Natural Resources (Gwinn), Eagle Radio (Rosemary Smith) stations, Subway (Rick Holmes), John Jilbert, Roy Johnson, Barry Bahrman, Mike and Kathy Pentecost, Rod and Tami Hector, Deacon Dave, Lisa St. Charles, Tim Bischoff, KFC, Bill and Wendy Finkbeiner, LSCP, U.S. Rep Dan Benishek’s office, Senator Tom Casperson’s office, TV6, TV5/10, Mining Journal, Tina and Tammy at Sovereign Communications, Mark Wafer, NCLL, Wednesday Noon Rotary and all the support staff in Escanaba and Marquette.

Everyone who has dropped candle wax and toilet paper rolls, Shredding. Thank you for many of the new business opportunities throughout the Marquette business community. We have created many new jobs for persons with barriers do to physical and mental illness. We simply cannot thank you all enough.
