To the Journal editor:

The Word of God says, “Those who have ears to hear, let them hear!” By trusting, submitting and surrendering to God’s will, we truly hear and become obedient.

Obedience leads to righteousness; this righteousness given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. Disobedience leads to unrighteousness and destruction! We are all born sinners; but God has given us a free will to either accept Him or reject Himto choose righteousness through His Son or to turn from it.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards or revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”

2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” Those who have “ears to hear,” will hear!
