It is our pleasure to join the Marquette-area business community, and indeed the community in general, in congratulating the distinguished service winners announced at the Lake Superior Community Partnership’s annual dinner Thursday night.

This year’s business recipient was Range Bank, which LSCP chief executive officer Amy Clickner said has been a long-standing partner in the community and highly involved with the LSCP’s mission to spur economic growth in Marquette County.

The individual recipient, Mike Skytta, works in business development for Northern Michigan Bank & Trust, and has worked in banking at many Marquette area financial institutions over his 45-year career.

Range Bank and Skytta have lengthy track records in community service, forming partnerships and working for the betterment of the community.

Both were well deserving of the awards they received.
