Overall, MSU will receive $3.9 million for a range of projects to help Michigan farmers deal with climate change, food safety and marketing, according to a story published by The Associated Press.

Generally speaking, the funds are earmarked for a range of projects to help Michigan farmers deal with climate change, food safety and marketing, AP reported.

In Chatham, the money will go to create an incubator farm to help northern Michigan residents and students enter the agriculture industry. Professor Matthew Raven heads the project, said AP.

We usually support these projects which are relatively low cost and usually produce usable results of some sort.
