To the Journal editor:

I haven’t written a letter to the editor since 9/11 when almost 3,000 were murdered. This country was in shock and rage and crying out to God.

I just finished reading the article, “Abortion declining in nearly all states” in the Health section of the Tuesday Mining Journal.

Why does murder belong in the Health section of the paper? I took the time to tally the numbers for the totals for one year in 45 states…these are the only states apparently to keep a record of abortions.

The total for those states for one year (either 2013 or 2014) was an appalling 635,212. In New York alone in 2013 there were 94,326 lives snuffed out. (I noticed California was not listed.) What was the good news? The number of abortions are declining.

America, we have a long way to go before we break out the champagne over declining abortions. When God finally lowers the hammer on America, this will be one of His main reasons for doing so.
